- Fraud prevention tip -
It’s no longer enough to just ask for a Certificate of Insurance. We highly recommend that you actually call the Insurance Company to make sure the Contractor is insured for what services they're providing.
Reason? So many companies out there are cross marketing their services but only insured to do one of the services they're advertising:
Just do your due diligence to make sure your protected.
I've Replaced, Repaired or Tuned-Up more Recent Roofs Installation (less then 3 years old) and Recent or New Gutter System in the last 12 months then I have in the last 5 years previously!!
They have left whole subdivisions, having to replace their roofs and gutter systems; now at even higher prices (due to inflation and Covid) plus the additional work needed to correct the previous inadequate system.
Although Customer's are getting the Cheap Price they wanted, they're now paying higher (then ever) replacing systems in 2-5 years instead of 20-30 years.
You have many individuals in the gutter/roofing industry for the Very Short Term of 2 years selling cheap systems and cutting major corners.
They will change their business name, move to different cities or just disappear altogether. When they say, "you get what you pay for..." it's very true now - especially when it comes to what's above your head.
